HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SHIP MY ORDER?
Your order will ship out within 2-3 business days. Once your order ships, shipping within the United States takes approximately 7 -14 business days. If items are out of stock in our USA warehouse. We have backup storage in Asia and will ship your product directly from that warehouse if needed and your order will arrive within 12-18 days.
Outside the US, shipping varies between 20-40 business days.
WHERE IS MY TRACKING NUMBER?
Your tracking number is in your shipping confirmation email that you will receive when your order ships.
MY TRACKING NUMBER ISN'T WORKING?
If your order has just shipped, please allow up to 3 days for the status of the shipment to correctly display on the tracking site. This is just due to the carrier backlog and will update. If it has been longer than 3 Days, please contact us to look into the issue further for you.
WHAT IS YOUR INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY?
Purchases made outside the United States may be assessed local taxes, duties, etc. upon arrival. The shipping carrier that delivers the package may likewise impose additional brokerage fees or other surcharges as part of the customs and tax process. The recipient is responsible for paying all duties, taxes, fees, and international costs. Please review your country's import laws and fees before placing your order. If a shipment is lost, abandoned, or you refuse a shipment due to the local taxes or duties not being paid, Elfinbook will not issue you a refund for your order. Orders can be delayed due to verification or time of order being placed. Orders may be delivered in separate shipments.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
Elfinbook ships to all countries except The Russian Federation, Ghana, Nigeria, Iran, and North Korea.
WILL MY COUNTRY CHARGE ME CUSTOMS FEES OR IMPORT DUTY TAX?
All Elfinbook orders are shipped free or insured worldwide. Depending on your government policies, your government may charge us for receiving goods from outside of country. Individual country import policy vary and your obligation to pay customs. We cannot help any customer to avoid paying customs fees by providing inaccurate customs forms.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Unopened and unused products purchased on www.elfinbookofficial.com may be returned for an exchange or refund within 30 days of receiving your item. Customers are responsible for all return costs.
To start the return process, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with "Return" or "Exchange" in the subject line as well as the order number and reason for return/exchange in the body of the email.

WHAT CLOUD SERVICES DOES ELFINBOOK SUPPORT?
We currently support Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote, iCloud, OneNote, Slack, and email.
DOES THE APP SYNC ACROSS DEVICE?
The app currently does not sync across devices. If you'd like to use multiple devices, you'll need to set up your connections on each device.
CAN I USE THE APP TO SCAN NON-ELFINBOOK PAGE?
Unfortunately, the app cannot scan non-Elfinbook pages. We set up the pages to allow the machine vision to quickly pick up the page.
WHAT DOES FILE FORMATS FOR SCAN THE APP SUPPORT?
We support JPEG and PDF files.
THE APP IS TAKING UP TOO MUCH SPACE. WHAT I CAN DO?
Once you've uploaded your scans to your desired cloud destination, you can delete your scans in History. You can either delete selected scans or delete all.
CAN I CONFIGURE THE APP TO ONLY SEND FILES WHEN CONNECTED ON WIFI?
We currently don't have this feature, but are looking to add it in future app updates.
DOES THE APP RECOGNIZE HANDWRITING AND/OR TRANSCRIBE THEM INTO TEXT?
YES! Our NEW app does offer OCR (Optical Character Recognition).
WHY DO I NEED SIGN UP FOR AN ACCOUNT TO USE THE APP?
To use the Elfinbook, we ask you to sign up for account for two reasons:
- The email address you use to sign up with for the app is used as the default destination.
- Should you encounter an issue with setting up the app or sending a file to a cloud destination, we can help troubleshoot the situation by looking up your email address.
Please note that we do not share or sell your information to any 3rd parties. We also do not store or see any of the content on your pages.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I LEAVE MY ELFINBOOK IN THE CAR ON VERY HOT OR COLD DAY?
Pilot FriXion pen ink turns clear at 140°F/60°C. It regains its color at 40°F/4°C. If you use a Elfinbook with the FriXion pen, the ink may turn clear and regain its color if you leave it somewhere extremely hot or cold.
If you use an Elfinbook with the FriXion pen, the ink may turn clear if you leave it somewhere extremely hot. When you wipe it down with a moist cloth, the is wiped off, so you don't have to worry about it re-appearing in the cold.
Please note that this only happens with the Pilot FriXion pens.
